Wos of Oshkosh wins $10,000 grand prize in national VSA arts contest  Jonathan
Wos of Oshkosh is the grand prize winner of the VSA arts/Volkswagen contest,
“Road Trip: A Journey of Discovery”! Jonathan, who has osteogenesis
imperfecta, received $10,000 in prize money for his entry; a total of $30,000
in prize money was awarded to the 15 finalists, who were recognized at a reception
on Capitol Hill Oct. 8, 2003; their artwork was showcased in an exhibit at New
Horizons Gallery, the arts education and cultural enrichment program at Children’s
National Medical Center in Washington D.C. Jonathan was honored for his piece,
"Self Introspection" (below).
