annual Steve Stricker Golf Exhibition date set for July 28, 2008

 The
11th annual VSA Golf Exhibition with Steve Stricker will tee off July
28 at Cherokee Country Club, 5000 North Sherman Ave., on Madison’s
north side.
The format is a golf exhibition by Stricker, who
will play nine holes with representatives from Event Sponsors, followed
by a luncheon; registered luncheon guests may join the gallery and
follow along in carts to watch
the
golf exhibition.
The luncheon program features:
- Q&A with Steve Stricker
- Presentation by VSA participants
- Silent auction featuring donated sports memorabilia and other items.

100%
of the golf outing’s tax allowable donations are directed to the VSA
Art Center. Established in 1997, the VSA Art Center provides individual and group
classes for children and adults with disabilities. Classes are designed to give
individuals with disabilities an opportunity to meet new friends, participate
in activities outside of home and work, and experience the arts firsthand. This
year, professional artists will conduct 2700 hours of programming in dance, drama,
creative writing, music and visual art. Click
