Volunteer Opportunities
VSA Wisconsin depends on the support of numerous volunteers to help present programs. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Choirs
- Across the state, VSA Wisconsin choirs provide opportunities for adults with and without disabilities to participate in choral ensembles. Volunteers are needed to provide musical accompaniment, catalog music, help with performances, and more.
- Traveling Exhibition and Call for Art Program
- The Creative Power: VSA Wisconsin's Traveling Exhibition tours statewide to showcase the artwork of artists with disabilities, and the annual Call for Art exhibition presents the work of more than 200 artists each winter. Adult artists are given opportunities to sell additional work through VSA Wisconsin’s Art for Sale program. Transporting and setting up artwork, and staffing display sites are just some of the volunteer opportunities these programs offer.
- Special Events/Fund Raising
- VSA Wisconsin conducts fund-raising events such as art sales and benefit luncheons. Opportunities are available for volunteers who enjoy working with the public, have flexible schedules, and are looking for short-term projects.
- Other Projects
- There are occasional administrative assignments (mailings, computer entry, etc.) available throughout the year.
